Rain gauges across Queensland have filled for the first time in months, but farmers say steady follow-up downpours are needed to overcome extremely dry conditions.
Scattered storms across the southern half and north-west of the state brought 20 to 50mm of rain in the past seven days, with more showers forecast in the coming weeks.
